Treat Someone To Something Special This Christmas – Scotch Whisky News

The Last Drops

That’s a subtle way of saying there’s hardly any left…

The Last Drops

We like to think every whisky we bottle is something special. By that we mean it’s been hand-selected, there’s something we really like about it and we feel we’re bottling it at the perfect moment. But all good things must come to an end and for three of our recent premium releases we’re down to only a few bottles left. We can’t make anymore of these, the casks have been emptied, so if you miss out don’t say we didn’t tell you.

LIMITED NUMBERS AVAILABLE

As ever at Little Brown Dog we are only able to bottle a small number of each of our releases. We choose them carefully, each one is a spirit we’d drink ourselves, each one is different, there’s something special about it, that’s why we chose it. We like nothing better than talking about whisky and answering any questions you might have, so find us on social media. All of our available releases are on our website too.

Cotswolds Distillery ‘Celebrating Our Biodiversity Win!’ 🌿 – English Whisky News

Biodiversity Achievement of the Year Award

We’re delighted to share that we have been awarded Biodiversity Achievement of the Year at the Global Drinks Intel ESG Awards 2025.

This recognition celebrates the success of our Wetlands Ecological Treatment System first championed by our Founder, Daniel Szor and lovingly cared for by our Head of Production, Alice Pearson and her incredible team. What began as a practical solution made possible by Berry Brothers & Rudd and Rachel White Designs has evolved into something truly special: a living landscape of wildflower meadows, native hedgerows and wetlands now home to bats, owls, herons and pollinators alike.

It’s a reminder that craft and care go hand in hand, and that protecting our place in the world can be as rewarding as making what’s in the glass.

Raise a Dram to St Andrew’s Day with the New Look Jura 12 Year Old – Island Scotch Whisky News

Raise a Dram to St Andrew’s Day with the New Look Jura 12 Year Old

St Andrew’s Day is a time to celebrate Scotland – the faces, the places, and of course, the whiskies that bring us together. And this year, Jura 12 Year Old has a new look fitting for the occasion.

Since 1810, Jura’s beachside distillery has been creating a truly unique single malt. This Scottish island whisky is a testament to Jura’s fruity and balanced house style.

New to whisky and not sure where to start? Jura 12 Year Old makes it easy to find your perfect match. The bottle features a first-of-its-kind taste scale – so whether you’re buying for your nearest and dearest, or simply treating yourself, the scale takes the guesswork out of gifting by showcasing the strength of the whisky’s three key flavours (rated from 0–6): peach (4), bright citrus (3), and lightly toasted walnut (3). It’s a whisky designed to help you discover what you love – before you’ve even cracked open the bottle.

Pick up Jura 12 Year Old from ASDA, Co-op, Morrisons, Tesco and specialist retailers including Master of Malt and The Whisky Exchange, RRP £41.
