Whisky Wednesday Speaks of Banff Distillery – Whisky News

This week it’s all about Banff! Scottish distillery rather than beautiful Canadian countryside. This distillery just wasn’t designed to make whisky. So many explosions, so many fires, luckily though it turns out they make good whisky.
Mark’s Whisky Ramblings 308: Tormore 24 Year Old 1992 WhiskyBroker for Van Zuylen – Scotch Whisky News

Mark’s Whisky Ramblings 308: Tormore 24 Year Old 1992 WhiskyBroker for Van Zuylen
Mark Dermul, Belgian whisky vlogger, tries a Tormore. Tormore is a distillery that does not appear on Mark’s radar often, but thanks to a friend in Holland he was able to get his hands on a beautiful 24 years old that was bottled especially for Van Zuylen – a well-known whisky shop near The Hague. And what a lovely Tormore it turned out to be. Almost as lovely as the classified building of the distillery itself!

Mark’s Whisky Ramblings 307: Highland Park 9 Year Old 1998 Signatory Dumpy – Scotch Whisky News

Mark’s Whisky Ramblings 307: Highland Park 9 Year Old 1998 Signatory Dumpy
Mark Dermul, Belgian whisky vlogger, tries a old yet young Highland Park. This truly is a golden oldie, bottled in those old fashioned dumpy bottles that Signatory used in the last Century. Distilled in 1988 (the year in which Mark got his driving permit) and bottled in 1998. The malt matured for 9 years on a sherry cask and has thus spent more than double that time in the bottle.

Whisky Wednesday Reviews Millburn and Linlithgow – Whisky News

Millburn and Linlithgow – One distillery is northern and not particularly well known at all. It’s now a restaurant and hotel, no signs of it’s whisky heritage apart from the building that once made and stored the stuff. The other is a treasured lowland distillery with two different names: Linlithgow and St. Magdelene. The site was an leper colony, a convent, a hospital and a distillery before its closure in 1983. Two long lost to history but beyond contrasting and extremely different whiskies.
The Good Dram Show – Episode 359 ‘Glenfarclas’ – Scotch Whisky News

In this weeks show I’ll be taking a look at Glenfarclas. Is it just a one dimensional sherry monster? Have a look and find out my conclusion.
