Stolt Tank Containers opens new depot in Scotland – Scotch Whisky News

Stolt Tank Containers opens new depot in Scotland

Stolt Tank Containers (STC) has expanded its global network with the opening of Tank Wash Scotland Ltd, a new ISO tank depot in Grangemouth, Scotland. Grangemouth is Scotland’s largest port, handling nine million tonnes of cargo and over 225,000 shipping containers and is an ideal place for the depot to support customers given its convenient connections to the local rail freight network and close proximity to Scotland’s main road arteries.

The depot provides state-of-the-art cleaning, heating, storage and repair facilities for road-tankers, third-party tank container owners and STC’s own tanks. It features one segregated drive-through food bay, six fixed food bays, two drive-through chemical bays for road tankers and iso tanks, three test bays, three hot work repair bays, 12 steam-heating bays and parking for 30 trucks. A wastewater treatment plant offers a sustainable solution for handling waste, limiting water use and reducing transport-related CO2 emissions.

Michael Kramer, President, Stolt Tank Containers said: “I am delighted to announce that our latest depot is now up and running. Our long-standing relationships with customers, coupled with the expertise of our highly experienced local team will deliver value and quality to local markets. This is another step in our journey to optimise logistics by investing in facilities close to our customers and the digitalisation of our processes.”

STC believes that its investment in modern, efficient facilities at Grangemouth significantly improves the standard of tank cleaning across Scotland. In addition to aligning with STC’s sustainability strategy the investment also supports the Scottish Whisky Association’s ambitions for a circular economy and transitioning to net zero by 2040. The site is a member of the National Road Tanker Cleaners Association (NRTCA) and the European Federation of Tank Cleaning Organisations (EFTCO). Its high standards are recognised by SQAS certifications for tank cleaning and food handling.

When fully operational the Grangemouth site has the capacity to house 240 tanks and will serve the needs of customers in the local petrochemical industry and food and drink sector, which is by far Scotland’s largest export market.

The Proof Is Here®: More Than 10 Million Barrels of Bourbon Aging In Kentucky Distillery Warehouses – American Whiskey News

The Proof Is Here®: More Than 10 Million Barrels of Bourbon Aging In Kentucky Distillery Warehouses

Bourbon Industry Calls on General Assembly to Stop Punitive Production Taxes

FRANKFORT, Ky. – For the first time in the modern era of American whiskey, Kentucky has 10 million barrels of Bourbon aging in distillery warehouses across the Commonwealth, the Kentucky Distillers’ Association announced today.

Kentucky’s legendary distilling industry also set new production records for the number of Bourbon barrels filled in a single year – nearly 2.5 million – and for the total number of all aging barrels including other spirits such as brandy, at nearly 11 million. These numbers are for calendar year 2020.

“Kentucky’s signature Bourbon industry continues to invest in our Commonwealth at unprecedented levels, despite global pandemic disruptions, exorbitant taxes and ongoing trade wars,” said Eric Gregory, President of the Kentucky Distillers’ Association. “This is truly a historic and landmark record.”

But that milestone comes with a cost, Gregory said.

Distillers will pay a record $33 million in aging barrel taxes in 2021. Kentucky remains the only place in the world that taxes aging barrels of spirits as part of the production process, a discriminatory tax that hampers growth and jeopardizes the state’s ability to attract new distillers.

Barrel taxes have catapulted 140% in the last 10 years alone, Gregory said.

“The Bourbon industry is investing more than $5 billion in this state to increase production, build innovative tourism centers and create thousands of new jobs,” he said. “But punitive barrel taxes are punishing this growth and harming our chances to land new distilleries.

“It’s time for the legislature to take action and make barrel taxes refundable or transferable, which will further incentivize distilling investment in the Commonwealth. Kentucky should not have a tax structure that penalizes growth and investment on any manufacturer.”

Even though the Kentucky legislature passed a corporate income tax credit in 2014 to offset barrel taxes, the escalating number of barrels – and therefore taxes – far outpaces the amount of credit that distillers can take, Gregory said. Some distillers now only realize 30% of the credit.

The new production numbers are based on inventories reported as of Jan. 1, 2021, submitted to the Kentucky Department of Revenue for tax purposes and includes all distilling companies in Kentucky, the vast majority of which are KDA member distilleries.

Here are the specifics:

·     Total barrels of Bourbon: 10,321,793

·     Total inventory including Bourbon and other spirits: 10,880,328

·     Number of Bourbon barrels filled in 2020: 2,437,603

The previous records for all three categories were set in calendar year 2019 and reported on Jan. 1, 2020.

The Kentucky Bourbon revolution has seen tremendous growth since the turn of the century. Production has skyrocketed 436% since 1999. The state’s aging Bourbon inventory has increased 200% during that time while the total number of all barrels has nearly tripled.

The tax-assessed value of all aging barrels is now $4.4 billion, the first time it has surpassed the $4 billion mark and a staggering $589 million increase over the previous year.

Distilling remains the highest taxed industry in the state, paying more than $300 million every year in state and local taxes. Meanwhile, an upcoming economic impact study will show that Kentucky leads the nation in federal excise taxes on alcohol, paying $1.8 billion each year with almost all coming from distillers.

This means that Kentucky distillers pay about $2 billion each and every year to the government in taxes.

Bourbon is one of the Commonwealth’s most historic and treasured industries, an $8.6 billion economic engine that generates more than 20,100 jobs with an annual payroll topping $1 billion. Distillers also are in the middle of a $5.1 billion capital investment campaign to satisfy the global thirst for Kentucky Bourbon.

Unfortunately, retaliatory tariffs and never-ending trade wars continue to pose serious threats to those global exports, Gregory said. The European Union imposed a 25% tariff on American whiskey and other goods in 2018 in response to a U.S. tariff on steel and aluminum from the E.U.

As a result, Kentucky Bourbon exports to the E.U. and the United Kingdom – the state’s largest whiskey export market – have plunged nearly 50%, according to data from the state Cabinet for Economic Development.

And it could get worse – the E.U. tariff on American whiskey is set to double to 50% on Dec. 1.

The KDA recently joined a coalition of 50 trade associations representing the entire three-tier chain of the U.S. alcohol industry in a letter to Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo and Trade Ambassador Katherine Tai urging the Biden administration to secure the suspension of tariffs on American whiskey.

“Our industry is collateral damage in trade disputes that have nothing to do with Bourbon,” Gregory said.

“We reiterate our request that the Biden administration secure the immediate suspension of tariffs on American whiskey before more long-term damage is done. It’s been more than three years. The time to act is now.”

The KDA is a non-profit trade association founded in 1880 to promote, protect and elevate Kentucky’s signature Bourbon and distilled spirits industry. Visit www.kybourbon.com and www.kybourbontrail.com to learn more.

Auction Record for a Bottle of the World’s Oldest Single Malt Scotch Whisky – Scotch Whisky News

Auction Record for a Bottle of the

World’s Oldest Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Designed by Architect and Designer Sir David Adjaye OBE,

Decanter #1 of Gordon & MacPhail Generations 80-Years-Old

Sells for HK$1.5 Million (US$193,000) at Sotheby’s in Hong Kong

HONG KONG, 7 October 2021 – Today at Sotheby’s in Hong Kong, spirited whisky collectors from Asia and beyond competed to lay claim to a bottle of the world’s oldest single malt Scotch whisky – Decanter #1 of the Gordon & Macphail Generations 80-Years-Old, housing spirit from the Glenlivet Distillery originally laid down in 1940 in a bespoke oak cask by whisky creators Gordon & MacPhail. Bidders from across Asia and Europe drove the final sale price to HK$1,500,000 / US$193,000 / £142,000 (est. HK$800,000-1,500,000 / US$100,000-200,000 / £80,000-140,000), establishing an auction record for a bottle of the world’s oldest whisky. The winning bidder was a European private collector, new to Sotheby’s.

Jonny Fowle, Sotheby’s Spirits Specialist, said: “From the moment news broke of the existence of a whisky matured in oak for eighty years, it generated a huge buzz of excitement. For those lucky enough to taste it, myself included, this is an exceptional whisky that not only lingers on the palate but also long after in the mind. As we have seen, exceedingly rare Single Malts are highly coveted, and when collectors are presented with something truly special, they are prepared to go the extra mile.”

To house this most precious of liquids, Gordon & MacPhail commissioned internationally acclaimed architect and designer, Sir David Adjaye OBE to design a unique decanter and oak case around the theme ‘Artistry in Oak’ – a fitting tribute to this landmark moment for the industry, the longest-matured ‘expression’ ever to be released featuring spirit from a Scottish distillery.

The lucky recipient of this special lot will also enjoy a whisky tasting experience for four in London, conducted by Gordon & MacPhail’s Director of Prestige, Stephen Rankin and attended by Sir David Adjaye, in addition to the framed original cask head of Cask 340 which cradled the spirit for eight decades, and a one-of-one signed lithograph of Sir David’s original, concept drawings.

As part of their release of 250 decanters (the remaining 249 decanters will be sold at retail), Gordon & MacPhail is supporting a local charity, Trees for Life whose mission is to rewild the Caledonian forest. Proceeds from the sale of Decanter #1 will be donated to resource the Trees for Life nursery which grows 100,000 rare, native trees, including oaks, from seed each year.

On February 3rd 1940, George Urquhart – from the second generation to own Gordon & MacPhail, founded in 1895 – had the foresight and vision to place into an oak cask a spirit to be enjoyed after his lifetime by future generations. Urquhart passionately believed that each cask needed to be left to reach its full potential, and only when the whisky was deemed ready should it be shared. On 5 February 2020, the decision was taken to bottle the cask’s bounty, which had been nurtured over eight decades by four generations of the Urquhart family.

Previous auction sales for bottles of the oldest whisky ever to be released include The Macallan 78 Year Old and the Gordon & MacPhail Generations 75 Years Old from Mortlach Distillery.

“Lost Lantern’s Fall 2021 Single Cask Collection includes some of our very favorite casks we’ve come across so far. It includes whiskies from long-established, well-known distilleries like St. George Spirits and Cedar Ridge, as well as whiskies from highly regarded distilleries like Watershed, Boulder, and Spirit Works that have devoted followings, but aren’t distributed as widely,” says Lost Lantern co-founder Nora Ganley-Roper. “We’re especially excited to be releasing our first whiskey from Colorado and our first two whiskies from California, both major hotspots of craft distilling in the U.S.”

“Some of our casks push the boundaries of a particular style, like Single Cask #3, our high-malt bourbon from Boulder Spirits, or Single Cask #2, a five-grain bourbon from Watershed in Ohio,” says Lost Lantern co-founder Adam Polonski. “Others are more traditional in style but come from places you wouldn’t expect. Single Cask #1, a Sherry-finished Single Malt from Cedar Ridge in Iowa, is exactly like that: even though the Great Plains aren’t well known for single malt (yet!), this cask will delight lovers of sherry and sherried whiskies. We truly believe this collection not only shows our range but the range of American whiskey, and it will provide something new and exciting for even the most educated whiskey drinker!”

Beginning with the Fall 2021 collection, Lost Lantern has introduced a new cask numbering system. Every front label now includes the release year, cask number and alcohol by volume written by hand.

In addition to the single cask releases, Lost Lantern’s flagship blend, American Vatted Malt Edition No. 1 (SRP $120) remains available. Created with some of the biggest names in American single malt (Balcones in TX, Copperworks in WA, Santa Fe Spirits in NM, Triple Eight in MA, Westward in OR, and Virginia Distillery Co. in VA), American Vatted Malt represents collaboration and community amongst distillers and crafters who share the vision of bringing American whiskey into the light it deserves.

ABOUT LOST LANTERN’S FALL 2021 SINGLE CASK COLLECTION

Lost Lantern single casks show that the best whiskey reflects where it’s made, how it’s made, and who made it, and demonstrate that compelling whiskey comes from all across the United States.

Fall 2021 Single Cask #1: Cedar Ridge Iowa Single Malt Whiskey Finished in a Sherry Cask

(555 btls | 115.3 Proof): SRP, $110

Lost Lantern’s first sherried American single malt cask comes from the family-owned Cedar Ridge distillery in Swisher, Iowa. This particular cask had long been a favorite of the Cedar Ridge distillation team, until Nora and Adam spirited it away to be bottled. Aged for 2 years in 53-gallon new American oak, it was then finished for an additional 2 years in a 500-liter Sherry butt imported from Jerez, Spain. This is a classic sherried single malt, with rich, golden fruit flavors on top of a clean, honeyed malt base.

Fall 2021 Single Cask #2: Watershed Ohio Straight Bourbon Whiskey

(160 btls | 118.4 Proof): SRP, $100

Founded in 2010, Watershed is one of the most sought-after and beloved distilleries in the Midwest.  Meticulous production methods, commitment to local ingredients, and innovations with grain have resulted in an impressive range of spirits and a devoted following statewide. Their whiskies are rarely found outside of Ohio, especially at cask strength. Aged for 5 years in a 53-gallon new American oak barrel, this straight bourbon whiskey has a unique five-grain mashbill that includes corn, rye, spelt, malted barley, and wheat. This cask has a rich sweetness, perfectly balanced by oak spice and an orangey zing, evoking the flavors of our favorite breakfast pastries.

Fall 2021 Single Cask #3: Boulder Spirits Colorado Straight Bourbon Whiskey

(181 btls | 138.5 Proof): SRP, $105

The distillery was founded by Scotsman Alastair Brogan, who brought Scottish whisky-making traditions to the Colorado Rockies, where the dry, high-elevation environment makes for bold and unique spirits. Boulder uses a traditional Forsyths Scottish still and much of its output is Colorado single malt. Consequently, the straight bourbon whiskey from Boulder offers something unique—a very unusual high-malt mashbill: 51% corn, 44% malted barley, and 5% rye. The result, after 5 years of aging in a 53-gallon new American oak cask at over a mile in elevation, is a very big, rich, juicy straight bourbon whiskey. Hearty oak surrounds chocolate mousse, maple syrup-drenched waffles, fudge, and toffee. With a natural cask strength of 69.25%, this is a bourbon for people who love big bourbon, with a flavor profile that could only come from the mountains.

Fall 2021 Single Cask #4: Spirit Works California Straight Rye Whiskey

(195 btls | 122 Proof): SRP, $80

Located in Sebastopol, California, in the heart of Sonoma wine country, Spirit Works is a family-run distillery that was built from the ground up with sustainable practices in mind. Highly awarded and respected, the distillery also has one of the very few female-led distilling teams in the United States. Most importantly, they make wonderful spirits, especially whiskey. This single cask is a 5-year-old straight rye whiskey. It was aged in a 53-gallon new American oak cask and was made from a mashbill of 70% organic rye, 10% malted rye, and 20% malted barley. This straight rye whiskey has rich oak and baking spice flavors and deep chocolate notes, with hints of vanilla and lemon curd. Fresh, spicy, and balanced.

Fall 2021 Single Cask #5 St. George Spirits California Single Malt Whiskey

(250 btls | 107.3 Proof): SRP, $150

Founded in 1982 and located in Alameda, California, St. George is the country’s first craft distillery and has won renown for its commitment to experimentation, innovation, quality and precision, fresh and flavorful local ingredients, and above all else to trying new things. When they released their first single malt whiskey in 2000, the boom in single malt hadn’t started yet. They were blazing a new trail. More than twenty years later, they still do. While Fall 2021 Single Cask #5 is a single malt whiskey, it is bottled under Lost Lantern’s cream label, designated for “Other Whiskies.” Truly one-of-a-kind, this single malt is distilled from beer and has a very distinct and unusual flavor profile. Aged for 3 years in a 228-liter cask with a medium toast and toasted heads, this whiskey is very fresh and grassy and brings forth the idea of enjoying crème brûlée in a high alpine meadow.

BUSHMILLS® IRISH WHISKEY LAUNCHES THE CAUSEWAY COLLECTION 1991
MADEIRA CASK AND THE CAUSEWAY COLLECTION 2000 PORT CASK EXCLUSIVELY
TO GREAT BRITAIN

-Following the success of the Causeway Collection launch in 2020, selling out in a record 24 hours-

London, Bushmills® Irish Whiskey, the pioneers of Irish single malt, from the world’s oldest licensed whiskey distillery, is introducing two new and rare expressions, in Great Britain’s second annual release of The Causeway Collection, ushering in a new chapter in the development of exquisite Irish single malts. Last year, the highly coveted 2001 Feuillette Cask sold out in less than 24-hours. This Autumn, Bushmills is introducing two cask strength expressions exclusive to Great Britain. The Causeway Collection 1991 Madeira Cask will be available to buy exclusively from The Whisky Shop and The Causeway Collection 2000 Port Cask will be available at selected specialist retailers nationally.

The Bushmills 1991 Madeira Cask is an incredibly rare release of only 738 bottles. The expression has been aged for over 13 years in a mix of oloroso sherry butts and bourbon barrels before going through an unrivalled maturation period of 15 years in first-fill Madeira wine casks. Bushmills is a master in the art of honing time to achieve rich flavour and the Madeira cask is no exception. The resulting, highly unique, Irish single malt whiskey is rich with a deep, sweet, fruity character and overtones of creamy pralines and black coffee and bottled at a cask strength of 50.2% abv

The Bushmills 2000 Port Cask is also an unparalleled Irish single malt having spent its entire life in rare first-fill ruby port casks. After an incredible 20 year maturation in wine casks from Portugal, this whiskey is imbued with big, bold and luscious red fruit flavours. The Port 2000 Cask expression is bottled at a cask strength of 54.1% abv.

With a rich heritage in craftmanship, tradition and storytelling, each generation at Bushmills are custodians of time and the creation of fine liquid. Launching two new rare Irish single malt releases inspired by the natural wonder and mythical tales of the Giant’s Causeway. The fortified port wine cask adds waves of sweet, caramelised toffee notes, balanced by a hint of sweet chili.

Steeped in myth and legend, the UNESCO World Heritage site the Giant’s Causeway is just a stone’s throw from the Old Bushmills Distillery and has been a source of inspiration to Bushmills’ Master Distillers for centuries. The Causeway’s extraordinary hexagonal columns, each unique but perfectly locked together, much like the unique and extremely rare casks of Irish single malt whiskeys selected to create The Causeway Collection. Both are shaped by their surroundings and interact with the alchemy of nature. Every drop of spring water from the River Bush drawn by the distillery will have lapped the same mineral rich basalt rock as the Causeway itself.

Bottled at cask strength 50.2%, non chill-filtered and priced at £695 for 700ml, just 738 bottles of the 1991 Madera Cask will be available to purchase through The Whisky Shop from W/C 1st November.

The 2000 Port Cask will be available nationally at select spirits retailers, including: Hedonism, Master of Malt, Selfridges and The Whiskey Exchange, amongst others from the end of November, bottled at cask strength 54.1% ABV, non chill-filtered. Only 2,322 bottles are available with an RSP of £260 for 700ml.

The Causeway Collection limited series joins the existing Bushmills Irish single malt collection comprising a 10 year old, 16 year old and 21 year old. Colum Egan, Bushmills Master Distiller, said: “All the whiskeys used in The Causeway Collection have been expertly created and cared for by craftsmen steeped in a unique whiskey-making tradition passed from generation to generation for more than 400 years here at The Old Bushmills Distillery.

“The Causeway Collection celebrates our extremely rare and unique casks, our passion for single malts and honours our rich heritage. It’s a privilege to work with such rare liquid, these special cask whiskeys really are our greatest treasures. We were delighted with how the Bushmills Causeway Collection was received globally in 2020, with some even selling out in minutes – and we can’t wait to share this year’s Collection with the world.”

BUFFALO TRACE DISTILLERY RELEASES ITS 2021 ANTIQUE COLLECTION WHISKEYS – American Whiskey News

BUFFALO TRACE DISTILLERY RELEASES ITS

2021 ANTIQUE COLLECTION WHISKEYS

George T. Stagg Not Being Released This Year

FRANKFORT, Franklin County, Ky (Oct. 6, 2021) Buffalo Trace Distillery will release its Buffalo Trace Antique Collection (BTAC) this fall, an ensemble of whiskies of various ages and proofs, ranging from uncut and unfiltered whiskey to whiskies as old as 17 and 18 years.

But this year, the lineup is missing George T. Stagg, the uncut, unfiltered 15-year-old whiskey.  George T. Stagg will not be part of the release because the 15-year-old barrels do not meet the Distillery’s taste standards for the Stagg brand. “Before any barrel can be dumped and bottled, it goes through rigorous testing procedures numerous times to ensure it is meeting the quality standards set forth for that brand,” said Master Distiller Harlen Wheatley.  “Unfortunately, this crop of barrels earmarked to be Stagg back when it was put in the barrel in 2006 did not meet the Stagg profile today.  We discussed at great length how to proceed, and ultimately decided we did not feel right about lowering our standards or the age, by dipping into next year’s supply of barrels.  We know fans will be disappointed, as are we, but we could not release a bourbon that we did not feel was up to par with the flavor profile expected of George T. Stagg.”

There are various measures of quality tests administered to all of Buffalo Trace’s bourbon, everything from checking turbidity and testing samples using gas chromatography.  But the most discriminating test of all is the human palate.  A team of taste testers, who have all gone through sensory analysis training, taste each barrel sample brought to the laboratory at Buffalo Trace to ensure each barrel matches brand standards before it is dumped to be bottled. If one taster disagrees, the barrel is sent back to be aged longer.

“Quality is always paramount for our products,” said Drew Mayville, master blender, director of quality. “If the taste doesn’t match our expectations, then we will not release it to our customers.  And unfortunately, this year’s yield of Stagg did not meet our expectations.  Good news is, we’ll have the barrels we put up in 2007, which are on track so far for a 2022 release, barring anything unforeseen changes.”

The four remaining members of the Antique Collection, William Larue Weller, Thomas H. Handy Sazerac Rye, Eagle Rare 17 Year Old and Sazerac Rye 18 Year Old will be released and should be available at retail starting later this month. Here are details of each:

William Larue Weller

The Antique Collection’s uncut, unfiltered, wheated recipe bourbon is William Larue Weller. The previous release of this wheater was honored with an “Extraordinary/Ultimate Recommendation” at the 2020 Ultimate Spirits Challenge.  The 2021 release was distilled in the winter of 2009 and aged in Warehouses C, D, K, L and Q.  This bourbon registers at 125.3 proof.  A nose of crème brulee, followed by cherry and toasted graham crackers on the palate and a long rich finish of coca, herbs and oak can be found in this year’s offering.

Thomas H. Handy Sazerac Rye

Thomas H. Handy is the uncut and unfiltered straight rye whiskey. Last year’s release earned a Double Gold Medal at the 2020 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.  This year’s Handy was distilled in the spring of 2015; aged in warehouses I, L, O, and K and weighs in at 129.5 proof.  The flavor profile includes anise and cinnamon with a rich finish of spearmint and chocolate.

Eagle Rare 17 Year Old

This 101 proof whiskey was distilled in Spring of 2002 and aged on the first floor of Warehouse P.  The 2019 Eagle Rare release was honored with “Best of Category” at the Los Angeles International Spirits Competition.  This bourbon has a nose of ripe cherries, vanilla cream and oak, followed by a taste of caramel and coffee and a long finish of oak, pepper and fresh herbs.

Sazerac Rye 18 Year Old

The previous edition of Sazerac Rye 18 Year-Old was named “Best Rye Whiskey Over 15 Years” in the 2021 “Whisky Bible.”  This 2021 straight rye whiskey release has notable flavors of bright apples and herbs, anise and maple syrup on the palate and a finish of cocoa, coffee and dates.  The barrels for this whiskey were filled in the spring of 2003 and it rested on the second and fourth floors of Warehouses K and P.  It is bottled at 90 proof.

The Antique Collection was introduced more than two decades ago and Buffalo Trace has been humbled by the numerous awards bestowed from such notable publications as Whisky Advocate Magazine, Spirit Journal, and “The Whisky Bible.”

The 2021 Buffalo Trace Antique Collection (BTAC) whiskeys, minus George T. Stagg, will be available in limited quantities starting in late October.  Suggested retail price is $99 each.  For more information visit http://www.buffalotracedistillery.com/brands/antique-collection.

ABOUT WOLFBURN:

The original Wolfburn Distillery was founded just to the west of Thurso by William Smith in 1821.  In its day it was one of the largest distilleries in Scotland, producing, according to HMRC records, 28,056 “gallons of proof spirit” in a single year.  Taking its name from the stream that provided the water – the Wolf Burn – the distillery operated until around 1870.  The reasons for its closure are lost in time, but by 1877 the newly produced Ordnance Survey maps showed it being in ruins.

In 2011 plans were laid to resurrect the old distillery. Construction began in 2012 and in January 2013 the new Wolfburn Distillery commenced production, thereby becoming the most northerly distillery on the Scottish mainland.  Situated 300m from the site of the original distillery, the new Wolfburn operates in much the same way as the old: craftsmen use traditional methods to produce fine spirit, which is laid down in best quality oak casks to await the day when it is bottled as single malt scotch whisky.  Wolfburn’s single malt scotch whiskies are now available in over 30 countries globally.
