This limited edition release from Islay’s Kilchoman distillery is crafted with a small batch of bourbon and Oloroso sherry matured Kilchoman at 46% abv, with one specially selected Madeira hogshead at natural cask strength. The result is bottled at 48.3% abv and is limited to just 1,260 bottles, exclusively available to the UK market.

After months of searching for a cask we thought was at the height of perfection for bottling, we’ve discovered both French Oak Tawny and American Oak Bourbon single casks ready for release, and both are now available for sale via our web store.

French Oak Tawny Single Cask TD0196 was aged for 12 years in a 300L French oak cask previously used to mature Australian tawny fortified wine. Bottled at 47.7% abv it produced only 385 bottles.

American Oak Bourbon Single Cask TD0169 was aged for 12 years in a 200L American oak cask previously used to mature bourbon whiskey. Bottled at 47.6% abv it produced only 270 bottles.

Both casks have been bottled completely unflocked and unfiltered.

Distilled at Kilchoman on Islay, this single malt is a limited edition produced exclusively for the UK market. Crafted with bourbon and Oloroso sherry matured Kilchoman and one specially selected Madeira hogshead, this first batch is limited to just 1,260 bottles.

Presented at a strength of 48.3% abv, this small batch vatting has notes of citrus and peat smoke with added layers of salted caramel, cinnamon and red berries.
