TENNANTS WHISKY SALE: INCLUDING PRIVATE COLLECTION OF ARDBEG
A small Private Collection of Ardbeg is to be sold in Tennants Auctioneers’ Fine Wine and Whisky Sale on 23rd April. The collection offers such highlights as an Ardbeg 1978 Cadenhead’s cask strength bottling on offer with an estimate of £1,500-2,000 (plus buyer’s premium). An Ardbeg 1975 16 Years Old Cadenhead’s Special Individual Cask Bottling, distilled in 1975 and bottled in 1991, is offered with an estimate of £400-600, and an Ardbeg 1974 Connoisseurs Choice bottling, bottled in 1995 is offered with an estimate of £500-700.
Further highlights in the sale include a Dallas Dhu 24 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky, Rare Malts Selection bottling, distilled in 1970 (estimate: £250-350) and a Teaninich 23 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky also from a Rare Malts Selection bottling distilled in 1973 (estimate: £200-300). A Rosebank 12 Year Old Lowland Single Malt Flora and Fauna bottling is offered with an £200-300 estimate and three Connoisseurs Choice bottlings of Rosebank 16 Year Old from 1990 and 1991 are offered each with an estimate of £100-150.
