Springbank Society Bottle: Update – Scotch Whisky News
Springbank Society Members
We’re in a great mood here in Campbeltown because it is quite possibly the first warm day of 2019 here in South Kintyre – so that is keeping us all happy.
We just wanted to write to you all to provide a little update regarding the recent Society bottle, your orders and our dispatch schedule. Obviously, the bottle delivery process depends on a multitude of factors so we thought it would be best to get in touch and let you know how things are going. See below for delivery details.
—
If you requested for your order to be delivered to your house (or any other address that is not a Cadenhead Shop) then we are pleased to say we are making progress regarding these deliveries and we expect them all to be dispatched in the next 7-10 days.
—
If you requested for your order to be sent to a shop for collection, please read the information below.
Edinburgh + London Cadenhead Shops: These bottles will leave Campbeltown over the next 2 weeks. You will receive an email to alert you as to when you are able to go to the shop and collect your order.
Campbeltown (Springbank Distillery Shop): These bottles are available for collection now. Members whose bottles are ready for collection will have previously received an email regarding this matter.
Odense, Cologne, Berlin + Vienna Cadenhead Shops: These bottles left Campbeltown today. We cannot confirm the exact date they will arrive at their destinations (but it will be within the next week or two) however, you will receive an email to alert you as to when you are able to go to the shop and collect your order.
Baden Cadenhead Shop: These bottles will leave Campbeltown at the beginning of May, we do not yet have a confirmed date of arrival. You will receive an email to alert you as to when you are able to go to the shop and collect your order.
Once again, please allow us to stress that your order will not be available for collection until you have received an email informing you that the bottle(s) have arrived.
Please do not be concerned that anything could go “wrong” with the order (lost/damaged etc) as we have a number of spare bottles we deliberately put aside to deal with these eventualities – although we don’t anticipate any issues.
And lastly, we would ask for you continued patience as we answer a high volume of emails and phone calls and work through this extremely busy period of the Springbank calendar.
Thank you
Slainte,
Springbank Society and The Springbank Team
