Steel Bonnets Blended Malt Whisky

Created to honour the ‘Steel Bonnets’ or Reivers of the Borders Marches in the Late Middle Ages, this blended malt has been created by The Lakes Distillery using The Lakes Single Malt and some of the finest Scotch malt whiskies. Bottled at a strength of 46.6% abv, this is the first whisky of its kind. The palate is creamy and full bodied with notes of vanilla, ginger, nutmeg and dried fruits, all held together with sweet wood smoke.
