Jura Tastival 2017 Bottling: A Limited-Edition Festival of Flavours

Jura Tastival is upon us, and as we prepare the distillery to welcome visitors from far and wide to our island whisky festival, it’s also time to introduce our limited-edition bottling, created specially to mark the occasion. Just like our festival, the Tastival 2017 bottling celebrates new ways to enjoy whisky through exciting flavour experiences.

This cask strength, non-chill filtered limited edition expression marries some of our distillery’s finest aged spirits, enhanced in both first fill American White Oak ex-bourbon barrels and hand-picked Portuguese Graham’s Port Pipes. You may well find notes of chewy liquorice, black forest fruits and creamy white chocolate on the nose, followed by notes of orange zest, walnut cake, pineapple and crème de cassis to taste.

The first chance to try and buy this special bottling will be at Tastival itself, where our distillery manager Graham Logan will lead a toast for our guests – a highlight of this year’s busy festival programme, tickets for which are available now. If you can’t make it along, you can still join the festivities from far and wide through this unique bottling. We’ll be raising a dram to you in spirit. Slainte!
