Glenfarclas 40 Year Old

Marking the beginning of a new era following 180 years of production at Glenfarclas distillery since its establishment in 1836, this 40 year old release is presented at a strength of 43% abv in a striking wooden box that recreates the iconic warehouse doors.

The nose offers a sweet fruitiness with Turkish delight and freshly ground java coffee beans. The palate has light heather honey spread on buttered toast before a sherry power creeps to the back of the mouth releasing chocolate, raisins and sultanas, ending in a sweet, crisp finish.
