Autumn has arrived and with it comes our biggest sale to date! Here at the Whisky Auctioneer offices we are surrounded by a forest of gold, amber and copper tones… and outside it’s quite pretty as well. Just a few highlights from the sale can be seen below but there are plenty more to be had so be sure to take a closer look.

Macallan 1949 Millennium 50 Year Old

Worthy of a special mention this month is this legendary Macallan. Distilled on 14th January 1949 and bottled in August 1999 to celebrate the new Millennium, this 50 year old spirit is presented in a very elegant decanter alongside a certificate and a hardwood case.

Karuizawa 1983 Single Cask #3557 

This is a rather special bottle and we are excited to feature 2 in this month’s auction. One of the rarest Karuizawa’s ever bottled, there were only 50 produced for a Master Class at The Whisky Show, London earlier this month.

Bowmore 1964 Black Bowmore 42 year old 

A legendary Bowmore, the first of the more recent releases, distilled in 1964 and bottled at 42 years of age.  This iconic bottle is always much sought after and highly collectible. 

Springbank Door Gods First and Second Editions 

Produced exclusively for the Single Malt Club China with beautiful accompanying artwork these very very limited release bottles are vividly decorated with Chinese Door Gods.
