Mark Dermul, Belgian Whiskyblogger, tries an independent Blair Athol. Blair Athol is a lesser-known distillery in the Highlands, which produces primarily for the famous Bell’s blend. There are barely any official bottlings, so if you want to try this whisky, you will need to look at independent bottlers. I tried a single cask from 2002, bottled under the Hepburn’s Choice label, a subsidiary of Hunter Laing.
