Described by renowned whisky writer Charles MacLean as ‘Extraordinary!’ in our latest edition of Whiskeria, this 42 year old single malt has been matured in various types of cask before being transferred into high-quality Gonzales Byass oloroso sherry casks. Master Distiller Ian McMillan described this as ‘the smokiest whisky of its age he has ever encountered’, but it is balanced by a rich sweetness.
One of only 500 bottles ever produced and bottled at 46.3% abv.
