VINTAGE MACALLAN SPEYMALT FROM GORDON & MACPHAIL

These vintages of Macallan Speymalt from Gordon and Macphail may seem expensive, but they really do offer amazing value. Being able to purchase a Macallan distilled in 1950 for less than two grand is remarkable. Putting it in perspective, on the same day we received these Macallan Speymalts, we were offered, but declined, a different independently bottled Macallan distilled in 1969 with an RRP of just over ten grand.

The beauty of it all is that these three whiskies are fantastic single malts that truly represent the distillery character in a superb light. We should all raise a glass to Gordon & Macphail’s astute business acumen in establishing a firm relationship with Macallan over 100 years ago, enabling them to continue to bottle such fine stock.
