Now is available the second release of “whiskynews.it selection” bottled by Hidden Spirits.

This release is a Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky, an Independent bottling distilled at Auchroisk distillery.

Aging for over 21 years old in barrels ex bourbon, this whisky was second filled in sherry hogshead for 90 days. Bottled at 45%abv is a pleasant dram where you can try greats feelings.

Official tasting notes

Nose: unmistakable sensation of the first day of spring rounded by the honey and by the sugar of malt and compote.

Palate: creamy, the sweetness gives way to pink grapefruit, green tea and to the sensation of spices.

Finish: long, slowly the pink grapefruit gives way to the sweetness of barley sugar, compote and eventually to vinosity of the sherry.
