MEDAL WINNERS IN SAN FRANCISCO COMPETITION
BARDSTOWN, kENTUCKY (May 7, 2013) – Three Kentucky favorites from the Barton 1792 Distillery won medals in the 13th annual San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC), held March 21-24, 2013. 1792 Ridgemont Reserve Bourbon Whiskey won a much-coveted Double Gold Medal, and long-time favorite Kentucky Tavern won a Silver Medal. Another up and coming star, Zackariah Harris, was honored with a Silver Medal.
A record number of entries – more than 1,400 – were evaluated by some of the finest palates and spirits experts in the industry.
