Michael Urquhart, CEO for Gordon & MacPhail and will be with us to launch
the new Benromach 10 Y.O.. Gordon & MacPhabought the Benromach distillery in 1994 and spent four years refurbishing it with smaller stills and other new equipment, Their goal was not to make large quantities of single malt but to make very good quality scotch to fill their needs.

The ten year old will tell the story, I have not tasted it but I have heard it is a sweethart of a single malt!!!!

We will also taste the Benromach 21 Y.O, a single malt that more people should know. it is a rich, elegant Speyside malt with a rounding sherry influence.

The Gordon & McPhail Macallan Cask Strength Speymalt 37 Y.O. 53.3% is just about gone and one of the best deals of the year. It was not supposed to be sold here, after I tasted it, it would have been a crime not to let our customers (friends) not to have a chance at this single cask of Macallan. It is a whisky that WOWS people.

Bourbon Tasting
This Thursday Nov 12, 7:15 P.M. (R.S.V.P.) Very Limited

After the store closes on Thursday we will have Trey Zoellar foundr of the McLain & Kyne Bourbons to shop us their Jefferson’s line including the 17 Y.O. from the now closed Stitzel Weller Distillery, touted as one of the best of the year, and found by some to be better than the Pappy Van Winkle Twenty Y.O.

We’ll also try Sam Houston Bourbon perhaps Goslings Old Rum and some Irish Whiskey from Knappogue Castle. This will be limited and you need to R.S.V.P.

Signed Bottles of any of the Jefferson’s Line or Sam Houston Bourbon can be signed for holiday gifts and The 17 Y.O. would put a smile on a bourbon lover for sure. Orders placed for signed bottles need to be confirmed!!!!!
