As a part of the MCLEANSCOTLAND Clan Maclean gathering Tour, we will have the opportunity to offer a special whisky; selected by Charlie Maclean (our patron)
TOBERMORY 18 YO SPECIAL BOTTLING This bottle will come from Adelphi and is so special we think (Know) it will sell out fast.
http://angelswhiskyclub.com/awc/charliesdram.asp For non Maclean’s we are now placing members who want one of these special
bottles, on a “waiting list” to be first in line, after Macleans have had a chance to purchase. We are not saying there will be definate bottles available, BUT – if YOU wish to place your name on the list, please let me know. All sales will be controlled by Maclean Clan Council. So why are Angels involved? We are not involved in the setting up of this dram, the Clan Chief and Charlie Maclean were. As a McLean (Paul) he is simply trying to register interest in any remaining (unsold) bottles to assist the castle repairs. Contact Paul at; tob18@mcleanscotland.com ONLY 300 BOTTLES AVAILABLE @ £95 EACH, plus shipping.

A friend of ours has taken on a different job; The BenRiach Distillery Company has appointed Dumbarton-born Stewart Buchanan as its very own Brand Ambassador! He’ll cover both BenRiach and GlenDronach whiskies. A Brand Ambassador is the public face of an organisation who best embodies its products and services, who better than Stewart who can talk for hours about his beloved malts! But will he still travel on his beloved motorbikes? He explained: “I was working in the Tobermory Distillery when Billy Walker and his associates bought BenRiach in 2005. He asked me and Alan McConnochie to come across to get BenRiach up and running and back to its original glory. I lived in the distillery for a month as I worked all hours of the day and night preparing to return it to production”. He’s been there since! Stewart’s passionate about the whiskies he helps produce.
