The Kentucky Bourbon Festival Scholarship and 2012 Poster

Bardstown, KY – The 2012 Kentucky Bourbon Festival Scholarship recipients were announced at The Kentucky Bourbon Bardstown Sampler on Saturday April 28. Emily Nicole Drury and Trevor James Burba were honored along with their parents.

Sponsors of the scholarship are: Bluegrass Ice, Ronnie Rogers; Toddy’s Liquors, Guthrie McKay; Smith Brothers Trucking, Chuck Smith and Woodford Reserve Distillery.

Bourbons from Barton’s Brands of Kentucky, Blanton’s, Buffalo Trace Distillery, Four Roses Distillery, LLC., Heaven Hill Distilleries Inc. Jim Beam, Maker’s Mark Distillery, Michter’s, Wild Turkey Distillery and Woodford Reserve Distillery were enjoyed by the guests while dining on Kentucky cuisine from area restaurants.

The theme for the 2012 Kentucky Bourbon Festival was unveiled by Gartland’s Arts. “The Spirit of the Bluegrass”. Posters are available in the Bourbon Festival office for purchase along with the lapel pins.
