Kilchoman, Islay’s Farm Distillery, is delighted to announce the release of its 2006 vintage; the first 5 year old from the first distillery to be built on Islay for over 120 years.

Matured from 80% first fill and 20% refill bourbon barrels and reduced to 46%abv; the 2006 vintage is a limited release and available in mature malt markets around the world.

Tasting Note:

Colour: Light beech, darkening with age

Nose: Peaty aroma, soft cooked fruits, Christmas cake

Palate: Cloves, butterscotch, soft citrus, mouth filling with a lasting sweetness

Finish: A classic Islay Malt, now showing the benefit of ageing. Peaty fresh and clean finish
