We are extremely pleased to have Jim McEwan, veteran of 39 years at Bowmore (where he could have spent one more year and retired to a life of leisure) and now Master Distiller from Bruichladdich since its reopening in 2001.

Jim’s passion for whisky is extreme as it is for Islay and people; the man is very special. This will be an amazing evening, and for both the novice and the connoisseur this is an event you should make sure to attend. We are hoping to have the new 10 Y.O, some of the first whisky distilled after the reopening of this wonderful distillery, ready to drink after its 10 long years slumbering in oak barrels.

We are still working out the final details and they should be set by late this Friday, 10/14/11. The Fee will be no more than $125.00 ; we are aiming for $100. It will include a single malt, hopefully the New 10 Y.O. signed by Jim.

We feel this will sell out quickly, we will take reservations now and confirm on final pricing.

This, as a Gift, would be one that would never be forgotten.
