Global thirst for learning about Scotch whisky quenched

Virtual Invite:                    Whisky distillers, Gordon & MacPhail, and Moray College UHI join international students to raise a toast to the launch of their online whisky course.   It has been designed to give an understanding of Scotch whisky in a bid to satisfy increasing global demand from students[1].  Staff will join Campbell Evans, Director of Government & Consumer Affairs at Scotch Whisky Association, to link up live online with students piloting the course, from the USA and South Africa, to hear their feedback and raise a toast its success. 

Virtual invitation:            The launch can be viewed online from 10.15am through the URL http://194.35.216.148/streaming.html  – conference ID 40897.  Questions can be submitted in advance by emailing the contacts below.

[1] Over the last ten years enrolment for the CD Rom version of the Whisky Course has included people from 21 countries including the UK, USA, Canada, Hong Kong, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Estonia, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Japan, New Zealand, The Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and The Netherlands.
