Now, onto more important matters. For out final tasting of 2010, we have a truly fantastic event lined up, and indeed perhaps the perfect curative for the season’s winter chill – an evening with John Campbell, Distillery Manager at Laphroaig no less!

Laphroaig Tasting
Monday 13 December, 7:00pm

Laphroaig is probably the most notorious distillery in Scotland, producing a style of whisky that really divides people in a true love-it or loath-it way. We don’t want to give too much away for this tasting, but suffice to say that John will be taking us through some of the best the Laphroaig has to offer. I can say that there will certainly be some very interesting bottlings in there, especially if the word Cairdeas means anything to you.

Tickets for this tasting are priced at £35 each, will go on sale from 3:00pm on Monday – 6th December (not a minute earlier!), and as always are limited to 2 places per booking. Given the popularity of Laphroaig and the timing of the tasting, we’re expecting this to fill up pretty quickly. If you want to join us for what will most likely be one of the highlights of the year, best not to hang around!
