The micro batch experimental journey continues with the next edition to the Contours of Killowen and this time it’s a whiskey – but not just any kind of whiskey!

This is the first whiskey that went through our hybrid column still – Columbanus. Fully matured in a Cab Sav it showcases the wonderful balance that can be struck between spirit and cask.

TASTING NOTES

NOSE:
Blueberry & Strawberry Tart/pie. A slight lemon zest over almond paste

PALLET:
Mixed berry Jam. Cherry Bakewell especially the almond and glazed cherry part.

FINISH:
Shortbread with raspberry & blueberry compote.
