We’ve got the nod, the latest release from Ardnamurchan and we couldn’t wait any longer to tell you all about it. In spring of 2024, Ardnamurchan selected 28 unpeated bourbon barrels originally filled in 2018 and re-racked them into Tokaji casks sourced directly from Hungary.
Tokaji? It’s a rich, sweet wine that comes from Hungary and Slovakia – and just over two years later – it’s casks have helped to produce a luscious, funky, and vibrant 8-year-old Tokaji-finished Ardnamurchan single malt. Bottled at 52% ABV, it lands with an alluring combination of floral sandalwood, sweet pear and almond, bright and funky bamboo and white pepper.
