A super nose, rich and a bit grainy with some peat, vegetative and citrus notes, water raises the smoke and veg. In the mouth there is tobacco-peat and it’s juicy and mouth-watering (and a little vanilla/toffee) with a match-head swallow.

An excellent Springbank.

On the flavour map it lurks in square I7 on the rich side of rich and smoky.
