Laphroaig 30 Year Old 2024 Release
Presenting Laphroaig 30 Year Old 2024 release, a stunning dram from the Islay icons. The whisky has been matured in a variety of specially selected American oak barrels, and European oak ex-sherry hogsheads and butts for three decades, before being bottled at 45.8% abv. The nose is fruity and sweet initially, with very distinctive top notes of zesty orange and lemon peel, vanilla custard and treacle toffee. More delicate background notes are revealed on the palate, such as bergamot, sweet pastries and fresh thyme, which lead to a finish of smouldering peat smoke and sooty campfire notes.
