Inverdarach Editions Glenallachie 16 year old
ABV: 54.2% VOL: 70 cL
This single malt from Glenallachie Distillery was distilled in May 2008 and bottles in June 2024. Matured in an ex-Islay Hogshead for 16 years, before being bottled at natural cask strength of 54.2% ABV.
TASTING NOTES:
NOSE:Spiced apple , plums baked in brown sugar, bitter chocolate fondant, and a suggestion of smoke.
PALATE:Smouldering heather , pipe tobacco, ripe cherries, and a hint of a salty breeze.
FINISH: Complex finish, with more dark chocolate and dried fruit.
