Lovely, sweet, spicy things came to the nose – sticky marmalade, cinnamon toast, plum jam, burnt edge of rice pudding and liquorice allsorts in a waxy bag.

The nose was sweetness and spice with old medicine cabinets; gingerbread and clove against honey nut cornflakes, golden syrup, cola cubes and chocolate orange.
