*UPCOMING RELEASE* A French Oak Old & Rare and American Oak – Tasmanian Whisky News
A 17 Year Old French Oak and a 9 Year Old American Oak

Proudly presenting our final release for 2023. Both inherently different yet linked by their exceptional character as hand picked second-fill barrels.
Meet TD0028 and TD0451.
TD0028 is a 17 year old French oak and one of only two Sullivans Cove French oak second-fills of this age in existence.
TD0451 is a 9 year old American oak, a testament to the soul of our spirit, encapsulating all its fruity and textural delights.
American Oak Second-Fill TD0451

Beautiful tropical waxy flowers and a bright herbal element of lemon verbena and green tea.
“Absolutely stunning. All of the hallmark Sullivans notes are present, and the fruit-bursts in transitory places are wonderfully fun.”
Heather Tillott – Distillery Manager
Matured for 9 years in a second-fill 200L American oak ex-Bourbon cask, yielding just 277 bottles of Sullivans Cove single cask whisky.

17 Year Old French Oak Second-Fill TD0028

Freshly baked croissant with thick orange marmalade, honeycomb, and raspberry jam.
“It is no small feat to attain such balance and complexity in a French oak matured spirit, without the aid of an immediate fortified prefill. This is a whisky to sit with and listen to its stories.”
Kirsten Laurie – Production Manager
Matured for 17 years in a second-fill 300L French oak ex-Tawny cask, yielding just 415 bottles of Sullivans Cove single cask whisky.
