One challenge we had this year was getting a 30 Year Old Whisky Exclusive, Douglas Laing delivered this absolute beauty, the first retailer to have an exclusive in the new XOP packaging too. This Invergordon is a Vintage 1991, and aged for 30 years before being bottled in April 2022.

Official Tasting Notes:

Nose: Polished oak floors give way to a sweet -shop style with a wonderful medley of raspberries and milk chocolate.
Palate: Pear drops / candied apples develop to a warming spiciness (baking spice and brown sugar) alongside vanilla cream.
Finish: Lingers with a tangy character – orange rind and lemon drops – balanced by creamy cereal and allspice.
