Sherry Cask Select is the newest addition to The Dalmore’s acclaimed Principal Collection of Single Malt Scotch Whiskies. This delicious and decadent Highland Whisky was initially matured in ex-Bourbon casks for a period of 10 years, developing rich flavours of chocolate, citrus, vanilla and spice. The whisky was then finished for two years in Sherry saturated casks from Andalusia, imparting sweet fruits and Autumnal spice.
Nose: Caramelised orange, ginger and sultanas, laced with honey.
Palate: Dark chocolate and crushed almonds with a dusting of cinnamon.
Finish: Sweet mangos, panna cotta and lemon sponge cake.
