Distilled at the Highland Scotch whisky distillery Ardmore, this thirteen year old malt whisky has matured in bourbon barrel which was previously used to matured Laphroaig Scotch whisky. The result is a tropical fruity single malt in perfect harmony with aromas of peat and bonfire smoke.

The Apollo series of Scotch whiskies was first launched in 2019 to mark the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 spaceflight in 1969. TheWhiskyBarrel.com has created an international following of collectors and connoisseurs eager to add each new release to their collections.

Ardmore 13 Year Old “This Is Really Spectacular” features the iconic image of the solar ellipse witnessed by the Apollo 12 astronauts during the flight home to Earth after exploring the Moon’s Ocean of Storms.

This single cask yielded just 135 numbered bottles.
