We are incredibly excited to present you with this phenomenal single malt bottled by Berry Bros. & Rudd exclusively for Aberdeen Whisky Shop. This rich Speysider, matured in a First Fill Ex-Bourbon hogshead jumps out of the glass with wood driven aromas of dried vanilla pods, warm sponge cake and sweet baking spices – all suggesting truly excellent quality oak.
NOSE: Peaches, plum jam and a little green apple.
PALATE: Vanilla and chewy fruit cake.
FINISH: Cinnamon, clove and crème brûlée.
Only 120 bottles were produced.
The Linkwood distillery sits in Elgin, drawing its water from the springs of Millbuies Loch. Linkwood’s whisky is fresh on the palate with a thick texture which slows the whisky down in the mouth. It is this combination of texture and delicacy which makes it prized by blenders – and much loved by malt whisky drinkers all over the world.
