UKRAINE EMERGENCY FUNDRAISER

Tasting, auction and raffle in aid of Ukrainian refugees in Poland with Matt McKay.
Minimum £65 donation in-person at Melody Whisky Bar or £20
(without the drams) over Zoom, 100% donated to refugees.
You probably felt as helpless as we did seeing the pictures of the war
in Ukraine.
Sabine has been in touch with Marcin Schilling today.
Many of you probably know him as the Sherry Knight of Gonzalez Byass
from countless Sherry tastings here in London.
Today he lives in
Poland 40km from the Ukrainian border and is putting his efforts into
helping refugees coming over the border.
They are in need of all kinds
of basic provisions and we would like to help.
The funds will go directly to Marcin who is out buying basics for refugees and hosting some in his own house at the moment.

Note that for this unique emergency charitable event, membership of Capital Whisky Club is not required, and anyone not excluded from Club events is welcome to attend. For this reason, the usual post-tasting sharing of personal drams will not happen.
