The anticipated second release in the annual 16-year-old series from the Highland distillery is aged in a tasty combination of Oloroso casks and rare first-fill Palo Cortado sherry butts. This interesting maturation combined with Fettercairn’s unique distilling methods and signature tropical fruit style of spirit brings complexity in soft spices and toffee sweetness to this more-ish dram. Get one whilst they’re hot! A dram with a rich honey and bronze colour. The nose opens with sugared almonds, dried fruits and oak notes. Tropical fruits lead the palate with ripe mango, citrus zest, apricots and raisins balanced with walnut, mocha and liquorice notes.
