We had to share these “spirited” casks for you to try this October.  With so many amazing Single Casks coming in this Holiday Season we wanted to be sure that we shared them all so look for part two coming in November for Single Casks to be “Thankful” for!

First up are two new Single Cask expressions from The GlenAllachie Speyside Distillery…

The GlenAllachie 2009 12 yo PX Puncheon Single Cask #5876

Color: Mahagony

Nose: Waves of dark chocolate, plantains and figs, with nutmeg and ginger.

Taste: Lashings of treacle, dark chocolate, mocha, and heather honey with pineapple, grapefruit, and cinnamon.

The GlenAllachie 2010 10 yo Virgin Oak Single        Cask #2483

Color: Sunset Bronze

Nose: Cotton candy and sultanas, with white chocolate mocha, glazed cherries, and orange zest.

Taste: Grapefruit and orange peel, fused with heather honey, butterscotch, plantains, and coffee beans.

If you’re already a fan of GlenAllachie or if you’re just starting to learn to love this brand you definitely don’t want to miss these!

Next we have the latest offering from the Kilchoman ImpEx Cask Evolution Series

Really jammy, and then the palate offered some smoked, glazed meats with a touch of Port in the finish. A great Kilchoman! Tasting notes provided by a panel of trusted palates and friends of ImpEx – Travis Williams, Fernando Castorena, and Elijah Ammon.
