The Balvenie Tun 1509 Batch 8

To create this smashing latest batch in The Balvenie’s collectable Tun range, Malt Master David Stewart hand-selected 18 of the finest casks: a combination of ex-bourbon barrels, second fill Sherry butts, refill puncheons and new sherry butts. These were all married together in the famous traditional oak marrying vessel known as Tun 1509.

Nose: baked lemon tart, orange marmalade, sweet sticky syrup, nuttiness.
Palate: rich, toffee, buttery vanilla, toasted oak, hint of dried spices.
Finish: oaky, lasting, divine.
