A very fruity Balblair chosen by our team due to its balance of orchard and tropical fruit character – sweet apples and pears with lashings of melon, lemon and vanilla. A 2005 Balblair single malt, matured in a single cask and bottled in 2021 exclusively for The Whisky Exchange. Aromas of ripe pears, green apples and sweet camomile fill the nose, complemented by notes of honeydew melons, lemon bon-bons, Pink Lady apples and vanilla throughout the palate, with hints of grapefruit lingering in the finish.
