This unique Rượu Đế Whiskey consists of 50% rice whiskey, 30% straight rye whiskey, and 20% American single malt. The rye brings baking spices, orange zest and butter into the Rượu Đế’s aromas of cooked rice, creamy vanilla and honeydew and the single malt ties it together with syrupy hints of fruitcake. The entry is alive with clove and tropical fruit moving to pine forest and caramel mid-palate. The dram finishes sweet and warm, with a lingering impression of molasses, spice, and campfire.
