Chivas Regal Honours The Driving Force Behind Scuderia Ferrari Hp In New Film: ‘A Tribute To The Scuderia Ferrari Hp Pit Crew’

Drivers usually take the centre stage – but every lap is a team effort, both on and off the track. Now, luxury Scotch whisky Chivas Regal is putting some of the unsung heroes of Scuderia Ferrari HP in the spotlight with the launch of, ‘A Tribute to the Scuderia Ferrari HP Pit Crew.’

Unveiled at the Italian Grand Prix in Monza, the powerful new film honours the tenacious crew who build together behind the scenes and reflects Chivas Regal’s belief that success is built on teamwork.

This launch marks the latest chapter in Chivas Regal’s ongoing partnership with Scuderia Ferrari HP – a collaboration that reflects shared values of passion, determination and ambition and celebrates a collective pursuit of excellence. It offers fans a glimpse into the high-stakes precision of a Scuderia Ferrari HP pit stop – a world where milliseconds define outcomes, and persistence is everything.

Fans can watch a choreographed routine inspired by the pit crews meticulous performance – a feat of human and mechanical precision – mirroring the dedication poured into every bottle of Chivas Regal.

Scuderia Ferrari HP Team Principal, Fred Vasseur, came together with Chivas Regal to pay tribute to the pit crew.

“Formula 1 is a team sport in every sense, and our results come from the dedication of everyone at Scuderia Ferrari HP. It’s great to have a partner like Chivas Regal, who highlights this collective spirit and recognises the incredible work done away from the spotlight” said Vasseur.

Acclaimed spoken word artist, George the Poet transformed the crew’s physical feat into a poetic spectacle, celebrating the perseverance it takes to show up on the track.

“You make it look natural… that unnatural level of precision. There’s a gold standard of execution that you bring to every competition…”

“I’m always drawn to the voices we don’t usually hear, so it is an honour to tell the stories of these unsung heroes,” said George the Poet. “Whether it’s a poem or a pit stop, craftsmanship takes tenacity. That’s exactly what Chivas Regal captured in this tribute.”

“True greatness is driven by the hands of many. This campaign embodies our I Rise We Rise ethos and focuses on the people who build together and set the team up for greatness behind the scenes.” said Nick Blacknell, Global Marketing Director, Chivas Regal. “The Scuderia Ferrari HP team shares our tenacious mindset and belief that success is built on teamwork – and that’s what makes our partnership so powerful.”

The film premiered at the iconic Italian Grand Prix in Monza, where Chivas Regal brought the campaign to life on the ground with curated experiences and recognition of the unsung heroes at the heart of the action.

D&M California: Producer Spotlight – Ardbeg – Islay Scotch Whisky News

EXTENSIVE RANGE FROM ONE OF SCOTLAND’S

MOST ICONIC DISTILLERIES!

Founded by John MacDougall in 1815 as one of the first official distilleries on Islay, over its 200+ year history, Ardbeg Distillery has firmly established itself as one of the most iconic single malt producers, not only on Islay and in Scotland but across the globe. Several of its offerings have earned prestigious awards including “World Whisky of the Year”, “Scotch Whisky of the Year” and “World’s Best Single Malt” and the enterprise itself has been recognized as “Distillery of the Year”. It has also built an avidly loyal international fan base that eagerly awaits each release.

The arc of Ardbeg’s evolution over the last two centuries has not always been smooth and upward and, in fact, in the 1980s and 1990s, it twice ceased operations until, in 1997, it was acquired by Glenmorangie and returned to full production. When Glenmorangie was subsequently acquired by LVMH/Moet Hennessy, Ardbeg became part of that group and, ever since, its trajectory has been solidy upward.

Key to Ardbeg’s status and achievements is its distinct style which is premised on an unabashed embracing of its coastal and peaty provenance. Its offerings are certainly among the most bold and smoky on the planet, but due to their unwavering commitment to quality in the production process, those attributes are well-complemented by other textural, structural and flavor characteristics that truly intrigue and engage one’s palate.

We have curated a broad range of the distillery’s expressions, including a few limited releases, and have highlighted several below. You can also check out our entire Ardbeg collection HERE.

Mark’s Whisky Ramblings 583: Double Barrel Speyside & Lowland Douglas Laing – Scotch Whisky News

Mark’s Whisky Ramblings 583: Double Barrel Speyside & Lowland Douglas Laing

Mark Dermul, Belgian whisky blogger, tries a blended malt of two barrels. Double Barrel has been around since 2008 and was quite an innovative and daring release from Douglas Laing at the time. As the name suggests, this is a blended malt from two different barrels, each a combination of various distilleries from different regions. In the past, they used to mention the distilleries – e.g. Ardbeg/Aultmore or Macallan/Laphroaig – but in recent years they have started working with regions instead. Nowadays, there is a Speyside & Lowland, Islay & Highland edition. Mark is tasting the Speyside & Lowland, but he has no idea which malts were used. All he found out is that one barrel contained an 8-year-old malt, the other a 10-year-old malt.

Old Pulteney Polaris, the exceptionally rare 47-year old single malt, achieves £62,500 at Distillers One of One Charity Auction – Scotch Whisky News

Old Pulteney Polaris, the exceptionally rare 47-year old single malt, achieves £62,500 at Distillers One of One Charity Auction

Whisky marks the first exciting announcement from Old Pulteney as the iconic distillery prepares to celebrate 200 years of industrial craftsmanship in 2026

International Beverage has revealed that Old Pulteney’s oldest-every whisky release, Polaris – a one-of-a-kind 47-year-old single malt – has achieved a value of £62,500 at the Distillers One of One Charity Auction.

Exceeding its highest pre-sale estimate (£26,000 – £40,000) and raising vital funds for The Distillers’ Charity, the sale of this remarkable whisky represents a momentous milestone for this iconic distillery as it prepares to celebrate its 200th anniversary in 2026.

Taking its name from the steadfast North Star, Old Pulteney Polaris was expertly crafted in partnership with local artisans and pays homage to Old Pulteney’s home in Wick on the far north coast of Scotland. Designed and created by Tain-based glass merchant, Glasstorm, this exceptionally rare whisky is presented within a striking 1.5L hand-blown blue glass bottle featuring inciso cuts that evoke the crashing waves of the North Sea. The art piece is encased in dramatic Caithness Slate from Norse Stone, representing the enduring cliffs found on the windswept coastline that surround the Maritime Malt’s hometown.

Further enhancing the rarity of this one-of-a-kind masterpiece, copper and silver have been masterfully integrated by local jeweller, Lucy Woodley. A hidden copper disc at the base of the sculpture has been carefully reclaimed from an Old Pulteney still, offering the winning bidder an unprecedented opportunity to own a piece of Old Pulteney’s heritage.

Distilled and aged at Old Pulteney’s home in Wick, this exceptionally rare 47-year-old single malt was rested in American oak ex-bourbon casks for four decades before an extended period of refinement in a carefully selected first-fill Spanish oak butt for an additional seven years. With an ABV of 43.6%, the result is a whisky of remarkable maritime character, elegant complexity and unrivalled depth.

Sarah Burgess, Master of Whisky Creation at International Beverage said: ‘Aged for 47 years, Old Pulteney Polaris is the distillery’s oldest release to date and pays tribute to Old Pulteney’s hometown of Wick. A celebration of the people and craftsmanship that shape the Maritime Malt, we were extremely proud to play our part in raising such an impressive sum for The Distillers’ Charity and the Youth Action Fund. Congratulations go to everyone involved in its creation, the Distillers One of One team for staging another momentous day for the Scotch whisky industry, and the new owner of Polaris who owns this very special piece of Old Pulteney history.’

The biennial Distillers One of One is one of the most prestigious events in the whisky world, bringing together rare, one-off creations from leading distilleries. This year’s auction, held on 10th October 2025 at Scotland’s Hopetoun House, offered bidders the only opportunity to own the truly exceptional Polaris showpiece (1.5L), complete with a 100ml tasting sample.

Proceeds from the sale of Old Pulteney Polaris will go directly to The Distillers’ Charity, with a proud focus on its principal beneficiary, the Youth Action Fund. This initiative supports projects across Scotland that provide education, training and employment opportunities for disadvantaged young people, ensuring this extraordinary whisky has an impact far beyond the walls of the distillery.
