This Whisky Tells a Story “The Last Keeper’ ~ Wolfburn Scotch Whisky News

From director Tom Opre ‘The Last Keeper’ is a powerful narrative on Scotland’s wild areas and the people that live and work there. After Tom visited Wolfburn and heard about his mission, we came together to produce this whisky to help and raise awareness for the Gamekeepers Welfare Trust (UK) and the Shepherds of Wildlife Society (USA).
The Gamekeepers’ Welfare Trust exists to support gamekeepers, stalkers and ghillies, and their dependants, past and present and give help when help is needed. A worthy cause indeed for the shepherds of God’s own country.
Matured exclusively in 2nd fill sherry butts, this expression of the Wolfburn 10-year-old is a fitting dram to enjoy on any occasion but particularly suited to those wet, windy days on the hill when you need warming up from the inside out. Matured in warehouse No. 2 and bottled just last week. A good dram for a good cause.

The Last Keeper illuminates the plight of gamekeepers, ghillies, and stalkers who see their traditional role as stewards of the land threatened. A film that delves into the heart of the Scottish Highlands, exploring contemporary wildlife management issues and the struggle of rural communities.
