The Cairn distillery have channelled over a century of experience to devise a progressive distillery designed to produce outstanding whiskies for the future. Every part of the distillation process from the raw ingredients, to the precise nature of fermentation, the unique shape of the copper pots stills and the casks used to mature the spirit, is specifically designed to maximise flavour and character as efficiently as possible.
While The Cairn Distillery is owned by Gordon & MacPhail, a fourth-generation family business, the Cairn has it’s own identity, is true to the heritage it comes from, but is proudly modern and forward thinking.
While their own distillate matures in their warehouse, the distillery would like to introduce you to their CRN57° a collection of blended malts, which evoke the style and character of their future single malts, giving us a sneak preview of what’s to come.
CRN57° 12 Years Old
The 12 year old blended malt is part of their core range. It has a sweet palate, hints of pepper, and candied undertones.
CRN57° 18 Years Old
The 18 year old blended malt is part of their core range, with has a sweet palate, hints of pepper, and oaky notes.
