Our Exclusive Tamdhu, Celebrating The Green Welly Stop’s 60th Anniversary

To celebrate our 60th anniversary at The Green Welly Stop, we are proud to present this exclusive, single cask release. Distilled on the rare date of February 29th, 2012, and bottled in December 2024, this exceptional whisky has been matured in a first-fill European oak Oloroso sherry hogshead.

Tamdhu owners Ian Macleod purchased Tamdhu in 2011, and officially started distilling in 2013, with a few distillations in between that time, this single cask is a 2012 Vintage, making it one of the first Single Cask releases with spirit produced by Ian Macleod. With only 325 bottles in existence, this is a truly special release.

Palate Balanced, sweet, mouth coating, bright fruits, blueberry muffin, cinnamon, clotted cream, granola, oloroso.

Finish Long finish, sweet oak, lasting subtle smoke.
