An Introduction to Sherry

To celebrate International Sherry Week, we are hosting a series of mini masterclasses to really get to grips with one of the world’s great wine styles, and one that has a long association with whisky.

Scotch whisky drinkers have fallen back in love with the sherry cask and the whiskies it can shape. The flavours in those drams can be traced back to the original sherries. Join us for one of the 45 minute masterclasses taking place on 9 November at our Great Portland Street store to taste across the different styles of Hidalgo sherry.

The lineup for these masterclasses will feature Hidalgo’s La Gitana Manzanilla, Palo Cortado Wellington VOS, Oloroso Faraon VORS and Triana Pedro Ximenez.
