Lady of the Glen QTR 3 Outrun Released 🥃 – Scotch Whisky News

Our third outrun of 2024 is here!

The Q3 outrun is released and we are delighted to present six new Lady of the Glen and the third edition of our St Bridget’s Kirk Solera release.

Within the Lady of the Glen releases we have two sister casks of casks released last year in Q3 including a heavily Sherried 13 year old Longmorn and a different style of Port finish Auchentoshan at 16 years old! We have a peated release in the form of a 11 year old Caol ila with a Rivesaltes finish. Inchgower 12 year old with an Oloroso finish and 10 year old Strathmill which has been maturing for over half its life in an Amarone wine cask. Lastly, we have the remnants of a Cambus fully matured in an Oloroso butt, only 121 bottles but bottled at 32 years old.

The St Bridget’s Kirk we have for this outrun is the 3rd edition of the Solera System. We have described this within our team as the definitive version of the solera system – this is the spirit that has lay in each vessel of the three cask system the longest so we are pleased to reveal it to you now! Bottled at 48.5% and the yield is only 218 bottles! You can see the review the Batch 2 here, 85 points on WhiskyFun!
