Deanston 15 Year Old Tequila Cask Finish
The first dram in Deanston’s experimental, limited edition series, this refreshingly different 15-year-old has been finished in Tequila casks, after an initial maturation in oak hogsheads. The true Highland nature of Deanston has been brought out with fruity and floral notes imparted by the Agave Tequila casks all the way from Mexico. Another highland, the Jaliscan Highlands to be exact! Presented at a lovely 52.5% abv.

Our Hamish has had a sip and jotted down his thoughts.
Nose: ripe pineapple, creme brulee, mixed nuts and light oak.
Palate: caramelised agave, toasted almonds, baked apples and warming spices.
Finish: long, spicy and sweet with bursts of citrus.
