This peated 1994 vintage has spent its entire life in a single Oloroso sherry puncheon with a yield of only 653 bottles. As part of the revered Gordon & MacPhail’s Connoisseurs Choice range of single casks, this Caol Ila was distilled in 2007 and is exclusively available from The Whisky Shop. It spent its life in a first-fill sherry butt for the whole 15 years, before being bottled at a cask strength of 59.2% abv, free from chill filtration and at natural colour.

Discover aromas of rich smoke, vanilla, and raspberry, moving to a palate of warming love, tangerine, and black pepper. The finish is spicy with lingering forest fruits and the smoky embers of a bonfire.
