Brand New Exclusive from Lochlea Distillery

Earlier this year our team at Aberdeen Whisky Shop made our way to the lovely Lochlea Distillery. We had an amazing experience meeting the team at this Lowland Distillery and had a great opportunity to sample and select a Single Cask Scotch Whisky to be bottled exclusively for Aberdeen Whisky Shop.

Lochlea Single Cask Aberdeen Whisky Shop Exclusive

This Single Cask Scotch Whisky from Lochlea Distillery bottled exclusively for Aberdeen Whisky Shop. This single malt was fully matured in a shaved and toasted American Oak Ex-Wine Cask, and bottled at 60.3% ABV, with no chill filtration and no additional colour.

This Exclusive dram showcases initial sweet vanilla fudge, giving way to ripe red fruits. More plums and raspberries, followed by floral notes and some spice, then a moreish toasted cereal finish.
