The Scottish city of Perth was historically the home of many a whisky company. It was the blending capital of the world, where many great blended malts were created however, as they moved away, Perth became the forgotten whisky city.

Old Perth is a range of Blended Malt Scotch Whisky, which will restore tradition by blending in Perth and exclusively using sherry-matured malt from a selection of Scotland’s finest distilleries located in the Glenlivet region of Speyside.

NEW LIMITED RELEASE

This new release from Morrison Distillers is the first in their annual series of limited editions from their Old Perth Range. This blended malt is fully matured in sherry casks. It takes its name from Pedro Ximenez, a luxurious grape from Southern Spain, which is picked very ripe or sun-dried to concentrate the sugar and natural acidity of the wine. Maturation in a combination of PX hogsheads and butts gave this malt rich, full flavour and velvety texture.

7800 bottles were produced, with only 800 available in the UK.
