Château D’yquem Sauternes Cask Finish

NOSE:  Hint of charred oak but not powerful oak.

PALATE: Gentle but unavoidable peat smoke, but there is so much more than that in this dram. Sweet, juicy stone fruits of peach and nectarine fill the mouth.

FINISH: A rollercoaster of flavours which combines all the fruitiness of the pallet with that incredible cask. Quite simply sumptuous.   Only 305 bottles were produced.

NOSE: Vanilla sponge and marzipan, followed by sweet tobacco, and fresh sea air, hint of burnt marshmallows.

PALATE: First, a lovely sweet and salted under-ripe pear, lingering lemon and mint cordial, sherbet, white pepper, and lasting apple-flavoured vape.

NOSE:  Haribo hearts, violets, pwach liqueur, white tea, some linseed oil, meadow herbs and soft wet driftwood.

PALATE: Linseed, wax polish, gooseberries, unripe pear, quince, juniper, golden raisins and balanced acidity.

FINISH: Lapsang souchong, fennel, caraway and drying oak.
